After loads of leaks and rumors, finally, OPPO is set to introduce its latest F29 Series in India on March 20, 2025. The lineup will have two models: the OPPO F29 and OPPO F29 Pro 5G. These two models will come with a blend of robust durability and aesthetic appeal to cater to consumers who are opting for resilience and style at the same time. Apart from the launch date, OPPO has also confirmed some key details of these devices, including their color and price.
The latest post by the company has revealed glimpses of these devices and confirmed that the OPPO F29 Series is coming with a 360-degree Armor Body that ensures comprehensive protection against various environmental challenges. Both models have undergone tests to ensure that they are resistant to extreme temperatures, shocks, vibrations, humidity, and solar radiation.
To secure these phones further, OPPO has taken additional protective measures like sponge bionic cushioning, which absorbs impacts, a raised corner design to safeguard against drops, and a lens protection ring to prevent camera scratches. They even have impressive water and dust resistance capabilities. So, these devices can withstand high pressure and high temperatures up to 80°C.
Additionally, the OPPO F29 Series offers a visually appealing aesthetic with a range of color options. As per the current reports, OPPO F29 Pro 5G is available in Marble White and Granite Black, while OPPO F29 comes in Solid Purple and Glacier Blue.
The X post doesn’t specify all the features that the series is about to offer to users. However, leaks are already circulating regarding the anticipated features that include a 6.7-inch quad-curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate for the OPPO F29 5G. Additionally, users expect these devices to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor and come with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage to ensure multitasking and gaming.
OPPO has always been renowned for its camera setup, and the F29 Pro 5G is rumored to have a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilization and a 2MP secondary sensor. About the front camera, speculations say the device will have a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies and a 6,000mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC fast charging.
The price details of these models aren’t yet shared, but assumptions hint that the OPPO F29 Pro will be available somewhere around Rs 25,000. Maybe the price will be below Rs. 25,000. Anyway, no confirmation has yet arrived.
