OnePlus is all set to kick off its highly anticipated Winter Event in India on January 7th unveiling the premium OnePlus 13 and the more budget-friendly OnePlus 13R. In addition to smartphones, OnePlus will debut the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 and continue enriching its audio segment product line.
The OnePlus 13 is expected to be a premium phone with a price range of Rs 67000 to Rs 70000, an increase from the predecessor due to the added features it brings to the table. This new model, the OnePlus 13R, targeted at a more budgetary category, may begin at around Rs 40,999.
OnePlus 13 has a 6.82-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring a smooth and vibrant visual experience. It is backed up by the new Snapdragon 8 Elite, which should provide top-tier performance. The photography abilities are impressive: the triple rear camera has three 50MP sensors with Hasselblad, featuring a main camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), a telephoto lens, and an ultra-wide camera. The device also has a massive 6,000mAh battery with support for fast charging up to 100W, so those with high usage can spend less time charging.
Although the OnePlus 13R's build quality is somewhat lower, the hardware interface is not much inferior. It has an AMOLED screen that is almost the same size as a 6.78-inch screen and 120Hz for smooth interaction with the interface. It has 12GB of RAM, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, and 256 GB of internal storage, making this model sturdy for the given price. Its camera system also reflects the OnePlus family tradition and includes a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization.
However, OnePlus allows fans who cannot attend the Winter Event physically to watch it live through live streaming. The unveiling can be watched live on the company’s official website and YouTube channel. This approach helps enlarge the event’s audience and lets people worldwide become the first to physically see the OnePlus new creations.
