Black Friday 2025 marks the first set of price cuts for the newly released Nintendo Switch 2. Deals are currently available from various US and UK retailers. However, the price drop on handheld console has been rather conservative and fall short of many gamers’ expectations. In the US, Switch 2 is available at its standard price of $449 from Walmart, with no significant discounts.
In the UK, however, retailer EE is offering a mild 5% discount, bringing the console to £385, one of the few direct price cuts available this season. Analysts anticipated that significant markdowns were unlikely this year, as the device is only a few months old.
Analysts note that Black Friday remains a far better opportunity for gamers looking to expand their library than to save on the console itself. Early deals reveal deep discounts on major third-party titles, as well as some meaningful cuts on select first-party games.
In the US, hits like Sonic X Shadows Generations have dropped from $49.99 to $24.99, while Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut is now priced at $29.99, down from $49.99. Titles such as Little Nightmares 3, EA FC26, and Star Wars Outlaws NS2 have also seen steep cuts, with many reaching record-low price points for the year.
UK buyers are receiving similar competitive discounts, with major price drops across multiple Mario titles. Other popular game series are seeing similar price cuts on Amazon, Very, and Argos.

While console price cuts are relatively small, Nintendo Switch 2 accessories are heavily discounted. These are often the best savings chances of the entire season. Headsets such as the Turtle Beach Airlite Fit have dropped to $19.99 in the US and £19.99 in the UK.
The cases and grips are among the most aggressively discounted, including Spigen’s Rugged Armour Case down to $15.79 and Belkin’s line of protective accessories featuring solid markdowns across both markets.
There are also several deals for gamers to boost storage. The Gigastone 128GB Express has dropped down to $39.99, and Samsung’s P9 512GB Express is now selling in the US for $74.99. Even the official Nintendo Switch 2 Camera is seeing price cuts on both sides of the Atlantic.
Bundled deals are the smart purchase options for console buyers. Amazon’s Switch 2 and Mario Kart World bundle is priced at $499 in the US, and £409 at Very in the UK, offering added value without a straight console discount.
Although there are fewer console discounts, Black Friday 2025 is still the best opportunity to purchase a console setup. With prices falling on most essentials, isn’t it the perfect time to level up your Switch 2?
