Microsoft has launched Surface Laptop 5G, a new business-oriented model to its Copilot+ PC family. First teased back in January product announcements, this 5G-enabled laptop is officially out and will hit stores on August 26, 2025.
One of the Surface Laptop 5G's best features is its high-strength connectivity. It contains six internal antennas that enable seamless connectivity between WiFi and 5G networks. The laptop also acts as a mobile hotspot, providing internet connectivity to surrounding devices. This is perfect for working professionals who work away from the office or are constantly on the road.
The laptop has a 13.8-inch screen and is powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processors. It has a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) to support 40+ trillion operations per second (TOPS), with which it supports Microsoft's Copilot+ PC platform. This provides efficient performance for AI-based work and software, including Microsoft Copilot.
While Microsoft hasn't revealed pricing information, it did say business shipments will start on August 26. With its mobile design, sophisticated AI capabilities, and persistent connectivity, the Surface Laptop 5G targets enterprise users who need productivity on the move.
