Meta has launched the Meta Gaming Accelerator, a three-month incubator program. It’s designed to support medium- and small-scale game developers in India's game development ecosystem. This initiative, announced at the Meta Marketing Summit (Gaming Edition), aims to give training, tools, and guidance to developers. The program reflects Meta's commitment to fostering innovation in India's evolving gaming sector.
The accelerator is being launched in collaboration with four leading venture capital firms—Elevation Capital, Kalaari Capital, Lumikai Fund, and Bitkraft Ventures. These firms offer developers direct mentorship on business strategy and fundraising.
Their participation means stronger backing for the programme. They provide both financial and strategic support to developers as they undergo market-readiness and scaling-level preparations.
Participants in the Meta Gaming Accelerator will be part of special training sessions. This includes ad monetization with Meta Ads and campaign optimizations for mobile games. One standout feature is the integration with Meta's Audience Network.
Participants who are programmers will also receive AI-powered storytelling workshops using Meta's Llama model. They will also receive cogent regional scaling and global market entry strategies, critical for their international success.
The Demo Day shall commence the programme. The selected studios will demonstrate their projects to Meta executives, investors, and industry specialists. Developers with strong performance will have extra support, including on-platform support and funding support.
This will bolster user acquisition within Meta's large digital ecosystem. This event is a significant opportunity for developers to raise future investments and achieve visibility.
Meta Gaming Accelerator is a significant investment in India's digital innovation and entrepreneurship. It fosters local creativity while preparing Indian studios to compete globally.
This is achieved by utilizing Meta's technical ecosystem and receiving mentorship from venture capitalists (VCs). As a result, Meta has become one of the largest contributors to the development of the Indian gaming ecosystem.
