LG has recently launched UltraGear evo. The announcement came ahead of CES 2026 and highlights LG’s focus on clear visuals, smooth performance, and smarter technology. The new lineup aims to make high-resolution gaming easier and more enjoyable for players globally.

UltraGear evo is LG’s premium gaming monitor brand, focusing on 5K and higher-resolution screens. The lineup includes OLED, MiniLED, and ultra-wide monitors. The company designed these displays to deliver strong visuals, high speed, and deep immersion.

On-Device AI Upscaling Changes Gaming Experience

The on-device AI upscaling feature improves the quality of lower-resolution content in real time. The technology increases the clarity to 5K quality without using expensive GPU upgrades. Gamers can enjoy sharper images across games and media. This approach makes high-resolution gaming more practical and accessible.

The 39-inch LG UltraGear evo 39GX950B leads the lineup. It is a 5K2K OLED gaming monitor that prioritizes visual quality and smooth gameplay. The Primary RGB Tandem OLED panel improves brightness and color accuracy. Perfect blacks add depth to every scene.

AI Scene Optimization adjusts visuals based on the game. AI Sound improves audio clarity for a fuller experience. Dual Mode allows switching between 165Hz at 5K2K and 330Hz at a lower resolution. This feature supports both story-driven games and fast competitive play.

The 27-inch LG UltraGear evo 27GM950B targets players who prefer smaller screens with high precision. It is the world’s first 5K MiniLED gaming monitor. The display uses more than 2,300 local dimming zones. This setup reduces blooming and halo effects.

Bright areas look sharper while dark scenes enhance visual details. Peak brightness reaches up to 1,250 nits. Dual Mode support allows smooth gameplay at different refresh rates. The same 5K AI upscaling technology improves content without extra hardware stress.

Large Screen Options for Deep Immersion

The largest model is the 52-inch LG UltraGear evo 52G930B. It delivers a massive 5K2K screen with a wide 12:9 format. The design offers more screen space than standard monitors. A strong 1000R curve surrounds the field of view. The 240Hz refresh rate keeps motion clear and responsive. This model suits immersive gaming and large multitasking setups.

LG plans to showcase UltraGear evo at CES 2026 with hands-on demos. The launch reflects LG’s aim to combine AI with display innovation. UltraGear evo sets a new standard for 5K AI Upscaling and modern gaming monitors.
