Jackery has introduced the Explorer 100D, a compact portable power station featuring a 30,000mAh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery. Designed for users who need portable charging without carrying a bulky power station, the new device measures just 4.6 x 3.4 x 3.4 inches and weighs approximately 850 grams.
Despite its small dimensions, the Explorer 100D offers a 96Wh battery capacity. Jackery says the device is suitable for carrying in hand luggage, making it an option for travellers who need to keep multiple electronic devices powered during long journeys.
One of the main features of the Explorer 100D is its LFP battery technology. Unlike conventional lithium-ion batteries, lithium iron phosphate cells are known for their longer cycle life and improved thermal stability.
Jackery claims the battery is designed to support up to 3,000 charging cycles and offers a lifespan of up to eight years with regular use. The company says the battery can retain at least 80% of its original capacity after those charging cycles.

The portable power station includes two 140W USB-C ports and an 18W USB-A port. Users can connect smartphones, tablets and compatible laptops simultaneously. However, the device has a combined output limit of 158W, meaning individual port power will be shared when multiple devices are connected.
The Explorer 100D also supports up to 100W of direct solar input. According to Jackery, compatible solar charging can restore the battery to 80% capacity in approximately 90 minutes.

The launch gives travellers and outdoor enthusiasts another compact charging option, combining a relatively high battery capacity with solar support and longer-lasting LFP technology.
