Despite Rockstar's silence, fan-led investigations have sparked a theory that American actor Dylan Rourke might voice and motion-capture Jason Duval, one of the game's two lead protagonists.
Since the game's initial trailers and leaked footage surfaced, the community has been scrutinizing every detail. One theory that's gained traction is that Jason's voice bears a striking resemblance to past performances by Dylan Rourke, sparking speculation about his potential involvement.
Dylan Rourke, whose work in television series includes Grey's Anatomy and Modern Family, possesses a voice tone that the great majority of fans feel fits perfectly into Jason's lines in the clips presented.
The rationale behind this theory goes much further than voice similarity. Further, enthusiastic fans have found other interesting circumstantial clues to his potential involvement. In June 2019, Rourke's casting agency congratulated him on landing a major video game role, coinciding with the early casting periods of a massive multiplayer GTA 6.
This message of congratulations at the time of such suspension, coupled with Rockstar's reputation for long development periods, lends some serious weight to the theory. Moreover, Rourke's physical attributes, such as his stature, which is approximately 6'2", and those piercing blue eyes, are a good match for that of Jason Duval's character model.
Visual similarity alone should never be taken as heavy confirmation that a supposed voice actor did lend their voice to particular scenes in a video game. However, when viewed alongside other pieces of evidence, it becomes rather compelling.

Adding coals to the fire of speculation, there are a few early social media interactions between a gentleman named Dylan Rourke and Manni L. Perez.
This Perez is the purported voice of Lucia Caminos, Jason's co-protagonist. Perez unfollowed Rourke once the first official trailer was out; however, this earlier association, even a brief one, adds more layers to the fan-fiction web of supposed evidence.
The developers of Rockstar Games have yet to make an official announcement on the matter of the Grand Theft Auto VI voice cast. This tradition of keeping things on the down-low for as long as possible is how the cities make an impact with their reveal for a project.
But the information gets uncovered by the GTA community more and more, sometimes even years before the official disclosures, thanks to their accurate (and sometimes desperate) community detective work.
Other names thrown around for the role of Jason include Gregory Connors, with the entry of Troy Baker and Roger Craig Smith, despite being disproved, making the rounds again.
Nevertheless, the evidence pointing towards Dylan Rourke, especially when considered from multiple angles, makes him the prime suspect in the eyes of many.
In the meantime, as the excitement around Grand Theft Auto VI continues to build towards its anticipated 2025 release, fans from around the world eagerly await this official acknowledgment from Rockstar.
