Fresh iQOO 16 renders have surfaced online, revealing a bold rear camera redesign ahead of its expected China launch this month. Chinese tipsters shared the images, showing black and white variants aimed at gamers through angular detailing and blue lighting.

The iQOO 16 could replace familiar camera styling with a large rounded square module and connected triple camera layout. The black version reportedly adds blue illuminated accents around the camera area and lower rear panel, while the white uses a matte finish.

The redesigned module marks a notable visual shift for iQOO’s flagship series after several generations of similar camera styling. Smooth and textured sections also appear across the rear panel, while rounded edges could improve handling during gaming.

Earlier leaks point toward three 50-megapixel rear cameras, although reports disagree about the primary sensor. The setup could include a 50 megapixel main camera, an ultrawide sensor, and a periscope telephoto camera.

The iQOO 16 could also bring a 6.85-inch Samsung 2K display with a 165Hz refresh rate. Performance may come from Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset, targeting gaming-focused flagship performance.

Battery capacity could reach 8,500mAh, with support for 100W wired charging and wireless charging. Other tipped features include IP68 and IP69 protection, a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, USB 3.2, and dual speakers.

The latest renders strengthen earlier reports about a major design change, although iQOO has not confirmed the images. Camera specifications remain uncertain, with some reports mentioning a possible 200-megapixel main sensor.

The phone could debut in China later this month, while its India launch remains uncertain. Final specifications, pricing, colors, and availability should emerge closer to the official announcement.
