Apple may be planning a fresh color lineup for its next Pro iPhones. A recently leaked image of the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max has revealed that this time the company will bring Dark Cherry and light blue shades for customers. The Pro Max unit looks deep red, while the Pro model has a softer blue finish. Not only that, there’s even a leaked image of purported iPhone 18 Pro SIM trays, and surprisingly, that also pointed to similar Silver, Dark Cherry, and Sky Blue shades. However, the Cupertino-based tech giant hasn’t yet commented on anything.
The new iPhones are also expected to get several hardware upgrades. Reports consistently indicate that both the Pro and Pro Max models will feature the A20 Pro chip and 12GB of RAM. Both models could run iOS 27 and feature three 48-megapixel rear cameras, with an 18-megapixel front camera. However, the screen sizes may differ across models. While the Pro model will feature a 6.90-inch display, the Pro Max model will feature a 6.30-inch screen.
All of these are currently leaks and have no solid basis to believe. However, the September 9 event is just a few steps away, where the company will probably reveal all the hardware details before the global launch of the lineup.
Apple gave the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max three color choices: Cosmic Orange, Deep Blue, and Silver. The bright orange finish was one of the biggest changes in the previous lineup.
The reported Dark Cherry shade could offer a darker and more premium look to the iPhone 18 Pro Max. The light blue option also looks much softer than Deep Blue. Silver may not return this time, as some reports have pointed to Black as another possible choice.
The color changes could give the next Pro models a very different look. Apple may be looking for shades that make the new iPhones easy to spot.
