The problem appears to be affecting users all over the world. Users in the United States, India, and associated regions were affected by the outage. Over 50 percent of reports are for the web, around 32 percent for the application, and a small portion is for the server connection.

The hashtag #InstagramDown was trending for a long time, which highlights the community's shared experience during the disruption. Instagram has not issued any official statement and has not even acknowledged the outage yet.
