Hong Kong-based Hacker Interstellar has increased the size of its proposed US initial public offering (IPO). It operates a voice-centric AI-powered social media app in emerging markets.
The company now plans to raise USD 43 million by offering 3.9 million shares at a price range of USD 10.50 to USD 11.50 per share, according to Renaissance Capital. The revised offering follows Hacker Interstellar’s earlier filing to offer 2.8 million shares at the same price range.
At the midpoint of the revised deal size, the company is expected to raise 39% more in proceeds than previously anticipated. The IPO would give Hacker Interstellar a fully diluted market value of USD 336 million.
Founded in 2016, Hacker Interstellar offers an AI-powered voice social media network. Its core business is voice-based social networking that uses AI to facilitate cross-lingual and cross-dialectal communication. YoYo’s platform offers a voice chat room experience based on vernacular-language voice models.
Hacker Interstellar has also been diversifying its products to include voice-based offerings and AI-driven B2B services. The company’s mission is to become an infrastructure platform for voice interaction in vernacular languages and dialects worldwide.
