Rockstar Games has released a new launch trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI, giving fans another look at the game just over a month before its long-awaited release. The 90-second video arrived on October 15 and offers fresh glimpses of Vice City, the main characters, and Leonida's action-packed world.
The trailer gave fans another taste of what Rockstar has been building. With the November 19 release date approaching, the latest footage adds to the excitement around one of the year's most anticipated games.
The new trailer puts the spotlight back on Jason and Lucia, the two protagonists at the center of GTA 6’s story. Their plans take a dangerous turn after a job goes wrong, drawing them into a criminal conspiracy that stretches across Leonida.
Rockstar’s description suggests that the pair will have to depend on each other as events spiral out of control. The trailer offers brief glimpses of their lives, the trouble surrounding them, and the cinematic storytelling that has become a defining part of the series.

There is plenty of action packed into the short video. Cars, motorcycles, helicopters and planes appear alongside police chases and scenes from the game’s busy urban environment.
Vice City’s colorful, Miami-inspired setting remains a major attraction, with the surrounding state of Leonida providing a wider backdrop for the story. The footage also shows Jason working out and changing hairstyles, offering another glimpse of everyday activities players may encounter in the game.

Music gets its own moment in the new trailer, which features a track from electronic duo Justice. The group is also working on the game’s soundtrack, adding another layer to GTA’s long-running emphasis on music and radio culture.
Rockstar has confirmed that the trailer was captured entirely using a PlayStation 5. That makes the footage a closer look at the game running on current-generation console hardware, rather than a separate cinematic made outside the game.
Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar has not announced a PC release date. With launch day approaching, fans will now be watching for any final announcements before they return to Vice City.
