The new update has included several changes to the article pages. Recent edits are now easier to track. Article pages have cleaner tables for key facts and tighter spacing between lines. The main article layout has not changed much. The new homepage makes it easier to find content. Featured stories, popular articles, and recent changes now have more space. Users can also get a quicker view of what has been edited recently.

The source of Grokipedia’s information is another key part of the platform. In 2026, a PNAS study analyzed 17,790 matching articles from Grokipedia and Wikipedia to determine that the former has longer articles, but offers fewer citations.
The study also found differences in the sources the two platforms used. Many Grokipedia articles were similar to their Wikipedia versions, while others had significant differences. In those cases, researchers found changes in the types of news sources used. This makes source selection an important part of understanding how Grokipedia writes and updates its articles.
