Google Pay announced a revised rewards programme for its Flex co-branded credit cards in India, offering higher returns on eligible spending, additional benefits for Google One members and discounts on selected Google products. The new structure takes effect on October 16, 2026, ahead of the festive shopping season. The cards are issued in partnership with Axis Bank and SBI Card.
Under the revised programme, Google One members can earn 3.2% back on eligible Flex card spending after crossing Rs. 15,000 in a reward cycle. Those spending below the threshold receive 1.6% back. The higher rate applies to all eligible spending during the cycle, rather than only transactions made after reaching the limit.
Non-Google One members can earn 1.6% back after spending Rs. 15,000, while those below the threshold receive 0.8%. The reward cycle runs from the 16th of one month to the 15th of the next.
Google One members can unlock additional savings by meeting monthly spending milestones. The programme offers 15% back, capped at Rs. 450 in Stars, after spending at least Rs. 3,000 on eligible utility bills, mobile recharges, broadband services and OTT subscriptions.
Cardholders can also earn 5% back, capped at Rs. 250 in Stars, after spending Rs. 5,000 or more through UPI at eligible food and grocery merchants. These include Swiggy, Zomato, Zepto, Blinkit and BigBasket. The total reward limit remains Rs. 1,500 per cycle.
Reportedly, Flex cardholders will be eligible for a 50% discount on Google One AI Plus plans, with savings of up to Rs. 3,960. It will launch on November 15, 2026.
You can also receive discounts of up to Rs. 10,000 on selected Google Pixel and Fitbit devices purchased from participating offline stores. The device offer is currently available to Axis Bank Flex cardholders, while SBI Card availability is expected later.
