Game of Thrones: Legends has added a new event called The Brightflame. It takes players back to a tense part of Westeros history and puts Aerion Targaryen at the center of the story. Interestingly, this event will bring Egg into the action. The event is scheduled to begin on October 21 and runs through November 18. During this period, players will be able to pursue its featured Legendary Champions. Most interestingly, the event gives fans a chance to see two lesser-used characters take a bigger role in the game.

The new content does not stop with Aerion and Egg. October is a pretty busy stretch for Game of Thrones: Legends players. For instance, Lord of the Hightower has already been running from October 7 through November 4, featuring Ormund and Gwayne Hightower alongside Otto, Rhaenyra, Aegon II, and Sunfyre. Next, the Unlikely Heir Kingsroad season will begin on October 12, along with Grand Melees and returning events tied to Robb's War, the Battle of the Bastards, House of the Dragon, the Battle of Blackwater Bay, and the Assault on Rook's Rest.

The new event draws from a darker chapter in Targaryen history. Aerion is known for his wild, cruel nature, and the event adds another way for the game to use characters and stories from the wider Game of Thrones timeline.

October is Packed with Westeros Battles

The Brightflame is only one part of the October plan. Robb’s War and Battle of the Bastards bring some of the biggest moments from the main series into the game. Fans of House Targaryen also have House of the Dragon content, while Battle of Blackwater Bay and Assault on Rook’s Rest bring more major fights.

Four Grand Melees and several Summons round out the month, giving players plenty to do beyond the new Brightflame story. It also makes October a good month for players looking to strengthen their rosters.
