Nothing launches CMF Phone 2 Pro in India, priced at ₹ 18,999 for the starting model. The smartphone features big improvements over last year's CMF Phone 1. It will be available for sale from May 5 via Flipkart, Croma, Vijay Sales, and offline stores.
The two variants of this Nothing phone are priced as follows:
8GB RAM + 128GB storage: ₹ 18,999
8GB RAM + 256GB storage: ₹ 20,999.
A limited-period bank offer brings the price down by ₹ 1,000, making the effective starting price ₹ 17,999.
The CMF Phone 2 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro chipset. It will provide up to 10% higher CPU speed and improved GPU performance compared to the CMF Phone 1. The phone operates on Nothing OS 3.0 on top of Android 15. It also introduces the Essential Space shortcut key for quick access to tools like screenshots and voice notes.
On the front, it sports a 6.67-inch flexible AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a maximum brightness of 3,000 nits. This is a far leap from the LCD panel of its predecessor. CMF Phone 2 Pro features a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.
Camera improvements are one of the main highlights. The CMF Phone 2 Pro has a triple-camera setup. It comes with a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom and 20x digital zoom, and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. The selfie camera is a 16MP shooter.
A mix of hardware updates and aggressive pricing makes the CMF Phone 2 Pro a good option in India's mid-range smartphone space. Nothing has also hinted towards adding more AI features to the device and to Essential Space. However, there has been no official announcement regarding the timeline for such upgrades.
