Apple is preparing to launch its new flagship product, the iPhone Fold. According to the latest reports, this new model will be similar to the Galaxy Fold series. The upcoming iPhone is expected to be launched at the end of 2026.
Recently, Tipster Sonny Dickson posted an update on X (formerly Twitter) as he highlighted the CAD design files for the iPhone Fold. The design suggests the iPhone Fold could feature a raised camera bump on the back. This feature is almost identical to Apple’s early iPhone Air models. According to reports, there will be two cameras, compared to iPhone Air’s one-camera system.
Rumor has it that iPhone Fold may feature a 7.8-inch inner OLED display with a crease-free design. It could also include a 5.5-inch outer display for regular use. This measurement refers to the screen size after the phone is folded.
Apple is also expected to power iPhone Fold with the upcoming A20 Pro chipset and a 5,500mAh battery. The upcoming foldable iPhone is likely to feature a smaller ‘Dynamic Island’, just like the one in the newly launched Apple MacBook Neo.
Apart from the above-mentioned specs and features, Apple is expected to launch the iPhone Fold in September 2026. Along with the iPhone Fold, the Cupertino-based tech giant could also bring the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. The upcoming flagship models are expected to cost around Rs 2,15,000.
Looking ahead, Apple is yet to make any official announcements about the detailed features of the upcoming iPhone Fold. So far, most specs and features have been leaked by tipsters and other sources.
