Apple is preparing to launch the much-anticipated iPhone 17 series in September 2025. Two major upgrades that will redefine the iPhone's display experience are reportedly thinner bezels and a redesigned Dynamic Island interface powered by iOS 26. The upcoming iPhone 17 series is expected to feature sleek designs and enhanced visual performance.

Thinner Bezels and Dynamic Island Revamped with iOS 26

The iPhone 17 series is expected to feature even slimmer bezels than all current models. Apple especially concentrated on slim bezels for its Pro devices, and now the same design theory seems to be spilling over into regular variants such as iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Air.

As per new reports, Apple might replace the 'Plus' model in favor of the new iPhone 17 Air, a design-oriented, lighter, and thinner model.

A refreshed Dynamic Island experience will also be offered. iPhone 17 and Pro models could bring improvements to the interaction and visual cues at the software level through iOS 26.

Although it’s unclear if the hardware cutout will be smaller, the redesigned interface is expected to make Dynamic Island more functional and intuitive.

Display Enhancements on Base and Pro Models

The base iPhone 17 could see an upgrade in screen size, scaling from 6.1 inches to 6.3 inches. A 90Hz refresh rate is expected, with Pro versions further retaining the 120Hz ProMotion.

For the first time, Apple may add an anti-reflective coating to the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max, which would reduce glare and improve screen usability in bright environments, comparable to features in Samsung's flagship devices.

iPhone 17 Prices

As per the reports, the prices of the iPhone series in the US, India, and Dubai are as follows:

Is iPhone 17 Worth the Buzz?

With iPhone 17 leaks coming out one after another, Apple appears to be prioritizing both form and function this year. The way Apple dropped the Plus model in favor of a sleeker iPhone 17 Air with an iOS 26 redesign, it is quite clear that the tech giant is subtly shifting its strategy.

Interestingly, the same speculation surfaced with Dynamic Island and refresh rate upgrades last year, but it didn't fully materialize. Apple fans will soon find out whether these changes are revolutionary or a mere hype.
