In perhaps the most talked-about technology deal this year, Apple's iPhone 15 can be bought for an unbelievable Rs. 36,490 as part of the Cromtastic December Sale. A year-end shopping festival that has generated massive attention and long lines at retail stores across the country.
Cromtastic December Sale, which will run from December 15 to January 4, 2026, is Croma's largest festival extravaganza of the year, during which thousands of gadgets and appliances are offered at discounted prices. Stores across the country have reportedly seen an influx of customers during the holiday shopping season, in search of the best deals to take into the new year.
Amidst all the hue and cry is iPhone 15. The phone was launched by Apple in 2023 and still maintains a fair level of performance and pricing. Although the phone's market price is set at Rs. 56,490, with a series of bank discounts and exchange offers, one can easily purchase it at a lower cost.
Some bank cards offer Rs. 2,000 cashback, encouraging customers to make purchases with eligible credit or debit cards. This instant discount helps lower the smartphone's upfront cost. Buyers opting for an exchange can receive up to Rs. 14,000 for their old devices. An additional exchange bonus of Rs. 4,000 further reduces the iPhone’s effective price to a jaw-dropping Rs. 36,490.

Indeed, for many iPhone consumers, this is one of the first opportunities to purchase an Apple device at a considerably lower price than flagship models. “I’ve been waiting for years to make the switch to an iPhone, but never had the means,” says Anita Sharma, a 28-year-old graphic designer.
Although it’s been replaced by newer models such as iPhone 16 and iPhone 17, iPhone 15 still has a capable dual-camera system, a fluid interface powered by A16 Bionic chip, and the distinctive design that many consumers find sufficient.
With the holiday shopping season in full swing, it is clear that this price cut is more about the competitive landscape. However, for those consumers walking out of the Croma showroom with an iPhone 15 in hand, the end of 2025 will definitely be on an upbeat note.
