
Acer has shifted CES 2025 to new laptops, gaming devices, and innovative technological solutions. The new launches point to advancements in AI integration, the usage of eco-friendly materials, and superior performance to reflect user needs.
Acer has launched new Predator and Nitro series models targeting gamers. The Predator Helios 16 AI and Helios 18 AI are powered by the Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series Laptop GPUs. These laptops have mini-LED, and OLED display options and the device’s refresh rate is 250Hz. The Predator Helios Neo 16S AI is Acer’s new mid-ranger equipped with similar powerful hardware to deliver the best gaming experience.
The Nitro V series provides a more accessible gaming option, featuring models such as the Nitro V 14 AI, Nitro V 16 AI, and Nitro V 17 AI. These laptops come with up to AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 processors based on Zen 5 architecture and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPUs. Select models incorporate AI-driven features powered by up to 50 TOPS of processing capability, enabling seamless gameplay and compatibility with Windows 11 native AI functionalities.
Acer expanded its productivity lineup with the refreshed Swift Go series and eco-conscious Aspire Vero 16. The Swift Go 14 and Swift Go 16 laptops have 3K OLED and 2K IPS touch display options. They are powered by Intel Core Ultra 200H processors, offering professionals a blend of portability and power. The lightweight designs weigh between 1.3kg and 1.5kg, with a battery capacity of up to 75Wh, ensuring extended usability.
The Aspire Vero 16 introduces a sustainability-focused approach. It is made of chassis from 70% post-consumer recycled plastic and bio-based oyster shell material. This model is based on the Intel Core Ultra 7 255H processor with integrated Intel Arc graphics. The Aspire Vero 16 is Acer's desire to continue to ensure it has a green impact as it seeks to deliver reliable performance.
Acer announced that other products at CES are CoPilot+ PCs, which are comprised of Swift Go 14 AI, Swift Go 16 AI, Aspire 14 AI, and Revo Box AI mini PC. These devices leverage the newest processors with neural processing units(NPU) for artificial intelligence processing, making creations more productive and creative.
For gaming, two handheld controllers, Nitro Blaze 11 and Nitro Blaze 8, come with AI-enhanced AMD Ryzen 7 8840HS processors. These compact devices feature WQXGA IPS displays with refresh rates of 144Hz, delivering a seamless gaming experience. The controllers have high connectivity options and built-in fingerprint identification provided by a special button on the case.
