Pre-orders for 007 First Light are finally live. Fans can now book the upcoming James Bond game before its official launch on May 27, 2026. The game has been developed by IO Interactive, the studio known for the Hitman series.

The title is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Along with digital editions, some stores are also offering physical copies with extra items for collectors. 007 First Light has already created a strong interest online. James Bond games have not had a major release in a long time, so many fans are waiting to see if this title can bring the series back into focus.

007 First Light: Editions, Prices, and Pre-Order Bonuses Explained

007 First Light comes in more than one edition. The game has four different editions, packed with loads of pre-order bonuses. The Standard Edition is priced around $69.99 and includes the full game along with a few bonus rewards for players who book the game early.

Next is the Specialist Edition, currently priced at $79.99, which includes the base game with classic skins, outfits, figurines, etc., along with a Free Deluxe Upgrade as a pre-order bonus. Some digital stores may also offer early access and a digital soundtrack.

IO Interactive has brought a Collector’s Edition for gamers. Players can pre-book it for $149.99, which includes the base game with steelbook cases, art cards, and other James Bond-themed items. Players can expect a Free Deluxe Upgrade as a pre-order bonus.

The fourth and final pre-order edition is the Legacy Edition, which will cost players $299.99. It is for hardcore James Bond fans and will include the base game, along with freebies such as weapon skins, figurines, and outfits.

Difference Between Digital and Physical 007 First Light Editions

The digital and physical versions mainly differ in the extras they offer. Digital editions are easier for players who want quick access. The game needs to be downloaded to step into the gameplay, and in some cases, the pre-order brings early access to the game.

Physical editions are more focused on collectors. These copies may come with printed items, steelbooks, and special packaging. Some players also prefer physical games because they can keep them in a collection.

Both editions, however, include the base game. The main story and gameplay will not change between versions. It’s just the rewards and extra benefits that differ.

Can 007 First Light Bring James Bond Games Back in the Spotlight?

James Bond games were once very popular, especially during the older console years. Over time, the series slowly disappeared from the gaming spotlight. Now, 007 First Light has a chance to change that.

Many fans believe IO Interactive could be the right studio for a Bond game because of its work on stealth-based missions in Hitman. If the game brings an interesting story full of mysteries, smooth gameplay, and memorable action sequences, there’s a huge chance that it will be the biggest James Bond game created in recent times.
