Ideal candidate should function as reliable technical consultants who provide assistance throughout both the pre-sales process and solution evaluation stage.
Help customers to implement Databricks solutions through practical experience which includes Apache Spark™ development and cloud system integration work.
Create and demonstrate reference architectures together with technical demonstrations and proof-of-concept demonstrations.
Develop Databricks integrations with external applications and all major public cloud platforms which include AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Work with Account Executives to provide customers with both technical expertise and business benefits.
Connect with data professionals by organizing workshops, meetup seminars and technical demonstrations.
Strong consulting or customer-facing experience across multiple industries.
Core expertise in data engineering or data science technologies.
8+ years of experience presenting technical concepts, demos, and architecture designs.
8+ years of experience designing solutions on public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
6+ years of experience with Big Data technologies including Apache Spark™, Hadoop, AI, and data engineering tools.
Programming experience in Python, R, Java, Scala, or Apache Spark™.
Experience working with extensive data systems used by major companies.
The candidate possesses the ability to convert difficult technical information into simple business value descriptions.
