Today's Quordle featured repeated letters and tricky word association clues.
Players solved four words simultaneously using strategic guesses and deduction.
Final answers included MOODY, JEWEL, BLEAT and SOAPY for today.
The Quordle word game threw its players yet another difficult puzzle, combining a variety of elements, from regular vocabulary to tricky words and double letters that could confuse even a seasoned player. As is known, the game requires players to guess four five-letter words at once. And for those who love solving puzzles, the game offers something more complex than, for instance, Wordle.
Today’s puzzle turned out to be of average difficulty, with some clues hinting at everyday vocabulary and others necessitating careful analysis of word meanings and hints. Additionally, there were two words with repeated letters, posing an extra challenge for players trying to save their clues.
The first word was an adjective for someone whose mood changes erratically and can become irritable and gloomy at any time. This clue helped the contestants think in terms of a personality type associated with mood swings.
The second clue was about a popular singer who was the voice of the 1996 song ‘You Were Meant for Me,’ as well as a precious stone. Contestants who knew either of them had a good head start here.
The third clue was based on the animal’s characteristic bleat and was one of the simpler ones on the list.
The fourth clue referred to some of the long-running daytime TV soaps, such as General Hospital, Days of Our Lives, and All My Children. The clue was clever enough to hint at something related to washing your hands.
Among the clues provided to contestants were that two of the words had repeated letters, and that the four words each started with the letters M, J, B, and S, respectively.
For those who were able to piece out the answers, the results were as follows:
MOODY
JEWEL
BLEAT
SOAPY
This was definitely an interesting blend of clues involving emotions, common English words, animal sounds, and some wordplay.
