More than ten years since its release, GTA 5 continues to rule the gaming world. The credit goes largely to GTA Online. While Rockstar Games has stopped updating the single-player mode, the online version continues to grow with exciting updates.

The upcoming Money Fronts update, launching on June 17, 2025, is another big step. It promises new businesses, gameplay upgrades, and vehicles, all for free.

Rockstar Confirms 'Money Fronts' Update for GTA 5 Online

Rockstar has confirmed the arrival of the Money Fronts DLC as part of the Summer 2025 update. The content will be free for all players on PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

New Criminal Fronts to Expand Your Empire

The highlight of the update is the introduction of the Hands On Car Wash. This familiar location becomes a clever front for money laundering. After purchasing it, players can expand their operations further by unlocking the Smoke on the Water dispensary and the Higgins Helitours business.

The additions will boost earnings from air freight and weed farm activities. However, the expansion comes with added risk. As attention increases, players must manage these businesses carefully to maintain a low profile and avoid law enforcement.

Gameplay Tweaks and System Improvements

The GTA parent company is also introducing a few quality-of-life upgrades with the new DLC. Players will now be able to skip cutscenes when replaying missions, which will save time and improve the overall experience.

The Missile Lock-On Jammer will now be able to target up to 50 vehicles, making it far more useful during high-speed chases and heists. Additionally, the update will double all Arena Points rewards, giving players more reason to return to that mode.

New Vehicles Arrive with GTA+ Early Access

GTA+ subscribers will receive early access to four new vehicles. The list includes the sleek Överflöd Suzume supercar, the rugged Karin Everon RS SUV, the versatile Woodlander SUV, and the sporty Declasse Tampa GT. These cars will be available to all players once the update rolls out globally on June 17. The early access perk gives paying members a head start in building their dream garages.

Conclusion: Rockstar Keeps the Hype Alive

Rockstar continues to prove why GTA Online remains one of the top multiplayer experiences in gaming. Money Fronts means the game is getting deeper criminal layers, smarter systems, and fresh rewards.

Whether you're building a shady empire through car washes or showing off new vehicles, this update gives players more control and more fun. GTA 6 may be the future, but for now, GTA 5 Online still runs the streets.
