Respawn Entertainment is shaking up the entire Apex Legends franchise as part of the sixth anniversary. Since this game was released in 2019, it has changed the battle royale landscape to a great extent. This game is indeed a bit complicated to understand, but once players get to know what to do, they will start enjoying this battle royale. However, it seems like the developer team has reorganized the gameplay for the upcoming season.

Apex Legends Season 24: Launch Date

Apex Legends Season 24: Take Over is on its way. Apex Legends is one of those few battle royales that has passed 23 seasons successfully with a stable fanbase. More precisely, with an increasing popularity. At this point, millions of gamers are willingly looking forward to knowing about the next season of the game.

At the time of writing, the scheduled date for Season 24 to go live is 11th February. So, it’s only a few days away, and players will be happier to know that with this update, Respawn Entertainment is expanding its gameplay and character roster.

Apex Legends Season 24: Changes and Updates

The full patch note of the game hasn’t yet arrived. The season will go live on February 11, so the full patch note is expected to come on February 10. However, the early patch note is enough to make players understand what’s coming. It seems that this time no new hero is joining the game, but the ones that are already in the game are getting significant boosts. Below are the changes that are coming with Season 24:

1. Assault Class Getting a Buff: 2025 is for Assault Class. For players who love to play hard in Apex Legends, it is their time. Respawn Entertainment has planned to bring two new perks: the Battle Surge perk, which will activate Battle Surge when players crack an enemy’s shield. Once activated, this perk will boost reload speed to a great extent. Another one is the Extra Firepower perk, which blends two current Assault Class perks to allow Assault Legends to have two new slots for grenades in their backpack.

2. Weapon Balance: The next thing that received a buff is the weapon balance. Assault rifles like the R-301, Flatline, and Hemlok got increased damage. Aside from that, SMGs, LMGs, and snipers also received increased damage.

3. Helmets are now removed in the upcoming season. To elaborate on this, purple, blue, and white helmets are no longer available to save players from headshots. Instead, now gold helmets grant two healings, and the newly introduced red helmet provides an additional 125 HP.

4. Finally, in the upcoming season, syringes and cells can be stacked to 6, and players can use them faster than ever. However, the best part is that the movement speed after getting injured is going to increase in the new season. It will solve a lot of problems as players can now move faster while taken down and escape the situation. They can find a safe spot to stay and wait for teammates to revive them.

These are the main changes that are going to come in the next season, but these aren’t all. Multiple other promises are made. One of them states that in Season 24, the ranked matches will reveal lobby MMR, which used to be hidden in the previous seasons.

Along with that, the new update is bringing a new system to qualify for the ranked matches. Up to this season, players need to reach a specific rank to unlock ranked play, but in the next season, challenges will come, and players must complete them to unlock ranked play.

Another notable change that Respawn has promised to bring in Season 24 is new policies to improve anti-cheat. Cheating is a prevalent issue in these games, and Respawn is reportedly bringing a system to detect and ban botting.

These are more or less all the changes that the upcoming Apex Legends season is about to bring. The others will be revealed with the full patch note that will be released on February 10.
