Vivo has announced the launch of the Vivo X200 FE and Vivo X Fold 5, with a release date set for July 14, 2025. Both devices will go on sale on Flipkart, the Vivo India site, and offline retailers. The sale will begin by the end of the first week of launch.
The Vivo X200 FE offers performance with a slim design. The phone is expected to feature a 6.31-inch AMOLED display and a 120Hz refresh rate. It may sport a 7.99mm thickness and MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset. 12GB memory and 256GB internal storage are also rumoured.
Battery life may not be a problem either because the phone may feature a 6,500mAh battery. This is expected to charge at a maximum of 90W, reducing downtime considerably. Cameras may feature a 50MP main sensor, a reported 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a ZEISS-approved 50MP tele-camera.
Vivo assures that the X Fold 5 will be its thinnest, brightest, and strongest foldable phone to date. The phone reportedly features a huge 8.03-inch 8T LTPO foldable display and a 6.53-inch LTPO OLED cover screen. Both displays are reported to offer support for a 120Hz refresh rate.
There won't be a brightness problem, as reports suggest the panel would hit up to 4,500 nits. That puts it among the brightest foldable phones around. This Vivo flagship model may employ a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, with 16GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. It might feature a battery of 6,000mAh and support 90W fast wired charging.
Camera features are equally premium. The phone is expected to have three 50MP cameras at the back and two 32MP cameras up front. With such hardware, the phone aims to provide the optimal performance in every task.
Reportedly, both phones will offer several AI features. These may include improved battery life, processing of photographs, and overall user interface. Another note here is that the ZEISS partnership will continue for the portrait and night-time photography.
Vivo X200 FE would probably retail at around ₹55,000, with a balance of performance and price. Vivo X Fold 5 is aimed at high-end consumers. It might be available for a price of ₹1,59,999 for the 16GB + 512GB variant. It's important to note that no official prices have been announced yet.
Vivo is targeting mid-premium and ultra-premium smartphone users with the launch of X200 FE and the X Fold 5. The compact design of the X200 FE can be pleasing to power users.
