Zettai Pte Ltd announced yesterday that users of WazirX will be invited to revote on its amended Scheme of Arrangement (“Scheme”) starting July 30 at 7:30PM IST and closing at 7:30PM IST August 6, 2025 , following the Singapore High Court’s orders made in HC/SUM 940/2025 on 16 July 2025.
This follows the Court’s July 16, 2025 order setting aside its earlier ruling from June 4, 2025 and granting Zettai permission to carry out a revote based on the amended Scheme. The decision came after Zettai’s further arguments made in HC/SUM 940/2025, during hearings on 15-16 July 2025. The court has also extended the moratorium granted in HC/OA 1284/2024 to facilitate the steps required by Zettai to carry out the re-vote.
Eligible users are required to cast their vote again, via the Kroll Issuer Services platform, accessible via the WazirX platform, during the stipulated voting period. A simple “FOR” or “AGAINST” option will be provided, and the voting results will be independently verified by an Independent Assessor (Joshua Taylor and Henry Anthony Chambers of Alvarez & Marsal). The revote is crucial for users as the amended Scheme needs a fresh round of voting. Results will be shared shortly after closure, and if the amended Scheme is approved by the requisite majority of eligible users, Zettai will make an application to the Singapore Court for its approval of the amended Scheme.
“Following recent regulatory changes in Singapore, the proposed Scheme has been updated to enable our India entity, Zanmai, to facilitate access to the token distribution. As a result, the Singapore Court has directed a revote. We aim to complete this process in the next few weeks. Once the amended Scheme has been approved by the requisite majority of creditors and sanctioned by the Singapore Court, we’ll be in a position to restart WazirX and facilitate withdrawals.” said Nischal Shetty, Founder of WazirX.
