Shiba Inu launched Shib Alpha, a full Layer-3 network built with ElderLabs on top of Shibarium, with sub-second transaction finality and support for gas payments in SHIB, BONE, or LEASH. The project now runs an L2, an L3, encrypted smart contracts via Zama FHE, and automated burns at the protocol level. The lead developer called it the end of the meme era.
