Bitcoin mining platform GoMining has introduced a new in-app social feed designed to bring its growing user community closer together. The feature, called Community, allows users to publish posts, exchange tips, celebrate milestones and interact with other members of the GoMining ecosystem.
Announced on October 28, the launch marks another step in GoMining's efforts to expand its platform beyond digital mining services by introducing more social and interactive experiences.
The new feature is integrated directly into the GoMining app, meaning users can engage with one another in the same environment where they manage their digital miners, participate in Miner Wars and access other products, including the GoMining Card.
Community operates as a social feed where users can browse posts, react to content and learn from the experiences of other members.
The company is encouraging users to share everything from their first Bitcoin mining rewards to successful mining strategies, achievements in Miner Wars and progress through GoMining's VIP loyalty program.
The idea is to create a space where experienced miners can share practical knowledge while newer users can learn from others who have already navigated the platform.
Unlike traditional online forums or external social media groups, Community is built directly into the app, keeping discussions connected to the products and activities users engage with daily.
All GoMining users can access the feed and react to posts. However, publishing privileges are tied to the platform's VIP loyalty program.
Users with Bronze II status or higher can create posts, with daily publishing limits determined by their membership tier. Members between Bronze II and Platinum I can publish one post per day, while users at Platinum I and above can publish up to five posts daily, according to the company's announcement.
The feature was tested with a group of early-access users before its public launch, giving initial participants an opportunity to start conversations and share content.
The introduction of Community reflects GoMining's broader efforts to make Bitcoin mining more accessible and engaging through digital products, loyalty incentives and interactive experiences.
Rather than focusing exclusively on mining rewards, the company is building additional ways for users to participate in its ecosystem.
The platform already offers digital miners, a VIP loyalty program and Miner Wars, a gamified mining experience. Community adds a social layer to these products, allowing users to discuss their strategies, compare experiences and recognize one another's achievements.
"Bitcoin has always been about people, not just technology," said Kirill Levitin, General Manager of Loyalty at GoMining.
"Behind every miner in our ecosystem is someone with their own story: how they started, what they learned, what they achieved. We want GoMining to be a place where those stories are heard, where experienced users can share what works and newcomers can learn from people who were in their shoes not long ago."
Levitin added that the company intends to continue developing the feature based on how its community uses it.
The Community section is being introduced gradually, meaning some users may not see it immediately in their applications.
GoMining described the current release as the first version of the feature, with additional functionality planned for future updates. The company has not yet disclosed which new tools or capabilities will be introduced.
The launch comes as cryptocurrency platforms increasingly explore ways to encourage participation beyond trading, mining and financial transactions. Social features can provide users with opportunities to exchange knowledge, build relationships and remain engaged with an ecosystem over time.
For GoMining, bringing these interactions directly into its app could help users discover new platform features while making the mining experience more collaborative.
Users can access Community through the GoMining app, available on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
