  • Cardano jumped 8% as whale accumulation and network upgrades boosted sentiment.

  • A bridge exploit on Wanchain drained 515 million NIGHT, sending the token down more than 30%.

Crypto markets saw several major developments as Bitcoin ETFs recorded $226.92 million in net inflows, Cardano gained 8%, and Worldcoin rallied following an ETF filing. Meanwhile, XRP traders adjusted leveraged positions, while a Wanchain bridge exploit affected Midnight's NIGHT token. Worldcoin rallied on ETF filing.

Bitcoin Witnessed $226.92 Million in Net Inflows

According to SoSoValue, the total net inflow of Bitcoin spot ETFs yesterday was $226.92 million. The Bitcoin spot ETF with the highest single-day net inflow yesterday was BlackRock's ETF IBIT, with a daily net inflow of $116 million, bringing IBIT's cumulative net inflow to $60.606 billion.

Second was Ark Invest and 21Shares' ETF ARKB, with a single-day net inflow of $72.7422 million, and its cumulative net inflow now stands at $1.322 billion.

The Bitcoin spot ETF with the largest single-day net outflow yesterday was Grayscale's ETF GBTC, with a daily net outflow of $45.4001 million, bringing GBTC's cumulative net outflow to $27.377 billion.

The total net asset value of Bitcoin spot ETFs reached $79.163 billion, with the ETF net asset ratio at 6.04%, and the historical cumulative net inflow totaling $51.579 billion.

XRP Funding Rates Drop 240%

XRP funding rates have seen a sharp daily decline, dropping 240% on Tuesday, July 21. The drop has coincided with an XRP rally, as the digital asset has broken above a key technical resistance level to climb 4% past the $1.13 mark.

What the divergence between prices and funding rates suggests is that traders are becoming less aggressive with leveraged long positions as XRP continues to advance, with a 64% surge in 24-hour trading volume.

The breakout has thus shifted short-term momentum more in favor of bulls, with traders now eyeing the $1.24-$1.28 region as the next major resistance zone.

Cardano Jumps 8%

Cardano has bounced back after a sharp sell-off, with ADA climbing nearly 8% over the past 24 hours to trade around $0.1747.

The recovery comes amid a strong whale accumulation and a major network upgrade, even as lingering security concerns persist in the broader ecosystem.

After gaining 11% over the past seven days and reaching an intraday high of $0.1774, focus is now on whether ADA can build enough momentum to challenge the $0.20 mark in the coming sessions.

Cardano recorded approximately $435 million in 24-hour trading volume, highlighting continued participation as the token recovered from recent lows.

Worldcoin Rallies on Grayscale ETF Filing

Worldcoin's WLD climbed around 8% over 24 hours following the filing to an intraday high of $0.387, trimming a rough week that still left it down around 5.5% over the past seven days.

On Monday, Grayscale filed an S-1 registration statement for the Grayscale Worldcoin ETF, a 'passive' vehicle that would hold WLD, the native token of the World Network, and track its price through the CoinDesk Worldcoin Benchmark Rate, according to the filing.

If approved, the fund would list on Nasdaq under the ticker GWLD using the exchange's generic listing standards for commodity-based trusts. The Bank of New York Mellon would serve as transfer agent and administrator, the filing shows.

Wanchain Cardano Bridge Exploit Drains 515 million NIGHT

Wanchain’s Cardano-to-BNB Chain bridge has reportedly suffered an exploit that drained about 515 million NIGHT tokens from its Cardano-side treasury, according to blockchain security firm BlockSec.

According to BlockSec, the reported Wanchain Cardano bridge exploit may stem from the way the TreasuryCheck validator creates messages for signing.

The firm said the validator combines 14 fields of varying lengths without adding clear separators or recording the length of each field. That structure could allow different sets of data to produce the same final byte string.

The incident triggered heavy selling of Midnight’s native token and sent NIGHT down more than 30% within 24 hours.
