Bitcoin holds $40k, APECOIN jumps into top 100 and EverGrow Coin rising

Bitcoin broke past $40,000 for the third time in March. On Wednesday Bitcoin's price shot up to $3,000 within a few hours and pushed $42,000. Crypto's major token has stayed above $40,000 now for the third day.

$40,000 has proven to be a key resistance level for Bitcoin this year. Bitcoin analyst Benjamin Cowen suggested another bear market capitulation was probable, which could see Bitcoin fall to $29,000 before the next bull market. 

Bitcoin is still down from its all-time high price of $68,000 back in November last year. The start of 2022 has not fulfilled Bitcoin's expectation to be a new 'digital gold' due to price volatility (Bitcoin has swung from $33,000 to $47,000 so far this year). 

ApeCoin rockets into the crypto top 100

ApeCoin launched on March 17 and rapidly rocketed into the crypto top 100. ApeCoin's market cap is currently at $4.1 billion, making it the 33rd largest crypto token. ApeCoin has a token price of $14,89 according to CoinMarketCap.

The token is linked to the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) collection of NFTs. Yesterday morning NFT owners of a Bored Ape were airdropped 10,000 ApeCoins, but holders quickly sold the coin and its initial price of $39.40 plummeted within hours to as low as $6.48. 

ApeCoin is an Ethereum token that's inspired by but separate from Yuga Labs' series of NFTs known as the Bored Ape Yacht Club. ApeCoin is a governance and utility token that lets users vote on how the ApeCoin DAO Ecosystem should be used.

EverGrow Coin to launch Crator platform

EverGrow Coin is another token gaining attention for its imminent rollout of Crator, a social media platform with a range of crypto incentives. Crator is essentially a content subscription platform, where users can put feed or live stream content behind a paywall. Users can also set different subscription tier options that allow access to further content.

Though crypto-based livestream platforms exist – like THETA.tv – Crator is the first application incorporating an easy-to-use social media interface. The payment gateway will allow fiat currencies, BNB, BUSD, and EverGrow Coin. The project incentivizes EverGrow Coin holders to keep their positions by paying BUSD rewards daily.

To date, EverGrow Coin just announced paying $35 million in rewards to investors within five months of launching. Its token price is currently $0.00000048 and with a market cap of $300 million.
