Fabrizio completed a master's degree in telecommunications engineering from the Politecnico di Milano and received an executive education on Mergers & Acquisitions at the London Business School. He has completed additional courses on business model innovation, Blue Ocean Strategy, Lean Organization, and Six Sigma, among others.
This unique combination of engineering, strategic thinking, and innovative thought processes has provided him with a strong foundation on which to build and develop high-impact AI and IoT companies that connect technology with global market demands.
Fabrizio began his career in software engineering before moving into industrial computing and AI leadership roles. He served as VP and Managing Director at AAEON Technology Europe, founded UP! Bridge the Gap, and led AI initiatives at Bitfury Group.Today, as CEO of Axelera AI, he directs a global executive team, oversees groundbreaking AI products, secures significant funding, and drives the company’s expansion across international markets.

AI Chip Innovation: It creates next-generation AI chips using in-memory computing Technology to Accelerate Inference in edge devices. Fabrizio has raised over 200 Million Euros for Axelera AI, introduced METIS, the fastest edge AI accelerator in the world, and expanded globally.
