Daniela Braga was raised in Portugal and developed a worldwide view because she lived in three different countries: Spain, China, and the United States. She earned her PhD in Speech Technology from Universidade da Coruña, in collaboration with the University of Minho and Brazil’s Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, earning top honors. Earlier she completed her MA in Applied Linguistics at Universidade do Minho with award-winning research.
In 2016 Daniella Braga established Defined.ai which she has developed into an AI training data marketplace that leads the industry. She started her career at FLAD as the founder and president and chief scientist while also serving as an advisor to the National AI Research Resource Task Force and the Portuguese Diaspora Council.
