Final Verdict

The HP OmniPad 12 is a powerful productivity-oriented device that doesn’t offer sufficient performance for being a proper laptop alternative. Its 12-inch 2K display, convenient detachable keyboard, long-lasting battery life and the useful Desk mode make it quite good for use by students and casual office workers who want to be able to browse content. The metal build quality and four loudspeakers add value to the list of its strong points. Yet, the weak performance of Snapdragon chipset when handling multiple tasks, along with the poorly-sized trackpad and charging speed, becomes a problem.
