According to iSeeCars’ 2026 analysis, the average electric truck retains 45.3% of its value after five years. The study analyzed more than 3 million vehicles to determine how much each electric truck depreciates over that period. The Ford F-150 Lightning leads the ranking, retaining 47.6% of its original value.
Here are the six electric pickup trucks that currently lead the resale-value ranking.
The Ford F-150 Lightning takes the top spot among electric trucks, retaining 47.6% of its value after five years. That is 2.3 percentage points higher than the segment’s 45.3% average.
The Lightning’s biggest advantage is its connection to the established F-150 nameplate. For buyers looking for an electric pickup without straying from a familiar full-size truck, it could be an appealing option in the used market.
iSeeCars lists the Lightning with an EV range of 300-320 miles and 536-580 horsepower, depending on the version.
The GMC Sierra EV ranks second, with a projected 45.9% five-year resale value.
The electric Sierra carries one of General Motors’ best-known pickup names into the EV market. It sits in the full-size electric truck category alongside models such as the F-150 Lightning and Silverado EV.
According to iSeeCars, a new Sierra EV depreciates by 54.1% after five years, resulting in a resale value of about USD 28,648. The broader electric full-size pickup category depreciates 54.2% over the same period.
The GMC Hummer EV Pickup ranks second, retaining 45.9% of its value after five years.
Unlike the Sierra EV, the Hummer takes a performance-focused approach to the electric pickup segment. Its large size, distinctive styling, and high-output powertrain give it a character that sets it apart from more conventional electric trucks.
iSeeCars lists the Hummer EV Pickup with between 570 and 1,000 horsepower. Its projected resale performance puts it among the stronger electric pickups despite its premium positioning.

The Rivian R1T ranks fourth overall, retaining 45.5% of its value after five years.
It is also the only model in iSeeCars’ electric midsize truck category, where it ranks first. The R1T has an EV range of 258-371 miles and between 533 and 1,025 horsepower, depending on configuration.
For buyers who want a smaller electric pickup with a strong focus on performance and versatility, the R1T remains an important alternative to traditional full-size electric trucks.
The Chevrolet Silverado EV ranks fifth in the overall electric-truck resale-value list.
The Silverado EV benefits from a nameplate that is already deeply established in the pickup market. That familiarity could be important as electric trucks gradually build a larger presence in the used-car market.
iSeeCars’ current data puts the Silverado EV’s five-year residual value at approximately 43.8%. The model also ranks first among electric trucks for range and is listed with a starting MSRP of USD 60,900 for the 2026 AWD LT configuration.
The Tesla Cybertruck rounds out iSeeCars’ six-model electric-truck resale ranking, retaining 43.2% of its value after five years.
The Cybertruck remains one of the most distinctive vehicles in the segment, with its unconventional exterior setting it apart from traditional pickup designs. But its projected resale performance currently trails the other models on the list.
iSeeCars estimates a 56.8% depreciation after five years, resulting in a projected resale value of about USD 30,239.
The rankings offer a useful snapshot of how electric pickups could perform in the used market, but resale values are not guaranteed. New-vehicle prices, incentives, battery technology, demand, and the wider EV market can all change depreciation patterns.
For now, the Ford F-150 Lightning leads at 47.6%, followed by the GMC Sierra EV and GMC Hummer EV Pickup at 45.9%, the Rivian R1T at 45.5%, the Chevrolet Silverado EV at about 43.8% and the Tesla Cybertruck at 43.2%.
