The role of artificial intelligence has become increasingly controversial in recent years. Some people view AI as a crucial tool for enhancing human efficiency and productivity, while others express concerns about potential job displacement, data privacy and security issues, and the spread of misinformation.
Amid these varying opinions, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has offered a compelling perspective on artificial intelligence. He shared his inspiring views on the growing trend of AI while appearing on a popular podcast hosted by Chamath Palihapitiya, an American venture capitalist.
Jensen Huang called AI the greatest technology equaliser. This is undoubtedly true, as people today can access advanced technologies despite lacking technical expertise and financial resources if they learn how to leverage AI properly.
He further added that earlier, the knowledge of coding languages like C++ and Python was limited to a very few people. However, the situation has changed, and now anybody can code, write, and paint using this technology.
Huang’s claim that AI is a powerful equalizer is compelling, but his prediction about the potential for new millionaires is even more surprising. He asserts that AI will generate more millionaires in the next five years than the internet has in the past twenty years. Considering the capabilities of Artificial Intelligence, this prediction seems entirely plausible.
While discussing the potential artificial intelligence holds, Jensen Huang also expressed major concerns. He said that people are not moving fast, meaning they are not learning and becoming familiar with AI, considering the rapid rate at which the technology is advancing.
He concluded by warning people who don’t use AI that they risk losing their careers to those knowledgeable about it.
AI is the future, and the predictions made by the NVIDIA CEO about it are not only sensational but also thought-provoking. Undoubtedly, AI will change the way traditional job structures function. However, those who know how to communicate effectively with AI and extract the necessary information will be the ones who thrive.
