CLIRNET, India’s largest network of doctors and a global leader in medical knowledge exchange, today announced the launch of a suite of specialised AI agents designed exclusively for healthcare professionals. This pioneering development marks a major leap in medical technology, offering doctors instant, reliable, and evidence-based support for clinical decision-making across India, the Middle East, and Africa.
The platform brings together four task-specific AI agents, each built to address a critical need in medical practice, with more specialised agents already in development to further expand its capabilities:
DDI (Drug-to-Drug Interaction Agent) – Verifies medication-to-medication safety and flags adverse interactions.
DDx (Differential Diagnosis Agent): Generates ranked differential diagnoses based on reported symptoms.
MedSearch (Medical Research Agent) – Retrieves and summarises the latest peer-reviewed studies and guidelines.
MedInfo (Medical Information Agent) – Provides evidence-based overviews on diseases and preventive care.
These agents leverage Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to ground every response in CLIRNET’s vast repository of clinical guidelines, drug monographs, and research articles, reducing hallucinations and enhancing factual accuracy. CLIRNET’s adaptation of GEPA (Genetic-Pareto Prompt Evolution) further optimises the AI agents by continuously improving prompts based on domain-expert feedback, making them smarter and more reliable over time.
“Doctors today are inundated with information, yet they need clear, evidence-based insights at the point of care,” said Saurav Kasera, co-founder of CLIRNET and Doctube. “With our AI agents, every medical query is routed to the most capable and safe system. This is not just AI, it’s AI engineered for doctors.”
The launch of these specialised agents—available simultaneously across all geographies where CLIRNET operates—reinforces the company’s mission to bridge the gap between cutting-edge technology and frontline medicine, equipping doctors worldwide with tools that enhance decision-making, reduce medical errors, and ultimately save lives.
CLIRNET emphasised that this launch is only the beginning. The company will continue to work closely with doctors to identify real-world needs and add more focused AI agents in the future—ensuring that the platform evolves hand-in-hand with the medical community to address emerging healthcare challenges.
With a network of over 650,000 doctors across India, the Middle East, and Africa, CLIRNET has consistently pioneered innovations that empower physicians and improve patient outcomes. Its ecosystem includes MedWiki® (a repository of over 1 million physician-contributed medical cases), DocTube® (20,000+ vernacular health education videos), and 10,000+ annual sessions with international Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
