XRP rose 4.40% in 24 hours to USD 1.60, while Bitcoin gained 0.05% and the broader crypto market rose 0.56%. XRP also gained 24.52% over seven days. Its daily trading volume climbed 8.57% to USD 7.67 billion as the price moved above its recent trading range.
CoinMarketCap’s Altcoin Season Index rose 54.55% over the past week to 52. The index compares major altcoins with Bitcoin over a rolling 90-day period. A reading of 52 shows broader strength among altcoins, although CoinMarketCap sets the threshold for ‘altcoin season’ at 75.
XRP’s gain outpaced both Bitcoin and the overall crypto market during the same 24-hour period. The rise in trading volume also accompanied a break from a multi-week period of consolidation. Together, those moves show increased activity in XRP as more altcoins gained ground. They do not establish that traders sold Bitcoin specifically to buy XRP.
CoinMarketCap’s live market page shows XRP trading near USD 1.60, with daily volume around USD 7.7 billion. Prices and percentage changes may differ across platforms as trading continues.
Crypto commentator Ash Crypto wrote on X that he was ‘aiming for USD 10’ for XRP. His post also named targets of USD 250,000 for Bitcoin, USD 10,000 for Ethereum and USD 1,000 for Solana. He called the current market the start of the ‘biggest bull run in crypto history.’
Ash Crypto did not give a date for XRP to reach USD 10. From USD 1.60, that price would require a 525% increase. His target sits far above XRP’s immediate resistance levels, and the recent rally alone does not indicate whether XRP could reach it.
For the near term, traders are watching USD 1.55 as support and USD 1.70 as resistance. A daily close above USD 1.65 could put USD 1.70 within reach. If XRP falls below USD 1.55, the next level in focus is USD 1.45. These levels describe possible trading paths rather than certain outcomes.
XRP reserves on Binance rose to about 2.68 billion tokens, their highest level since June. In a CryptoQuant analysis, Arab Chain said higher reserves put more XRP within the exchange’s trading system, but do not, by themselves, show that holders plan to sell.
A separate CryptoQuant analysis found that average daily XRP deposits on Binance ran 663% above their quarterly baseline during recent sessions. Withdrawals also increased, leaving reserves about 0.22% above that baseline. The deposits and withdrawals point to heavy trading activity in both directions, rather than a sustained one-way buildup.
XRP’s next move depends in part on whether buying activity continues as the price tests nearby resistance. A hold above USD 1.55 would keep USD 1.70 in focus, while a drop below that support would weaken the recent advance.
