Startup funding this week (August 31-September 4, 2026) highlighted a broad appetite for companies building infrastructure around artificial intelligence, healthcare, semiconductors, and clean energy. From a $165 million Series C for robotics perception startup Lyte to fresh capital for Indian deep-tech ventures, investors backed businesses targeting some of the technology sector’s biggest challenges.

Lyte and PatientIQ Secure Major Series C Rounds

US-based Lyte raised $165 million in a Series C round led by Maverick Silicon, valuing the robotics perception company at $1.6 billion. Lyte develops custom silicon, multimodal sensors and spatial software that help robots interpret their surroundings. The company said the new capital will support production, AI and perception development, and wider deployments across robotics and industrial customers.

Healthcare technology company PatientIQ also secured $30 million in Series C funding, led by Hughes & Company. The Chicago-based company provides an outcomes intelligence platform used by more than 870 healthcare organizations and 17 million patients in the US. PatientIQ plans to expand into additional medical specialties, strengthen its real-world evidence platform and develop its direct-to-patient marketplace.

Archive Draws Strategic Backing as Creator Marketing Grows

Creator marketing platform Archive closed a strategic funding round backed by Anti Fund and Florida Funders, with participation from Battery Ventures, Stripe, Tiger Global, Lux Capital, Human Capital, and more than 50 founders and technology and consumer executives. The company did not disclose the size of the round.

Archive uses AI-powered technology to help brands monitor social content and manage creator campaigns, from identifying influencers to turning successful posts into paid advertising. More than 1,000 brands currently use the platform, while two major AI labs are also running creator marketing campaigns through Archive.

Indian Deep-Tech Startups Attract Fresh Capital

India’s deep-tech ecosystem also featured prominently. Zenergize Technologies raised $4 million in a Pre-Series A round led by Giraffe Studios, combining equity and venture debt. The company develops Silicon Carbide-based power electronics for applications including solar inverters and EV charging. The funding will support manufacturing expansion, engineering, R&D, and its sales and service network.

Semiconductor metrology startup Makr Microsystems raised Rs. 10.2 crore in seed funding led by Bluehill VC, with Artha Venture Fund participating. Makr is developing Acoustic Atomic Force Microscopy, a technology designed to inspect structures beneath semiconductor surfaces without damaging them. The startup plans to use the capital for technology development, customer validation, and commercial deployment.

Together, the week’s funding activity points to continued investor interest in specialized technology. Robotics perception, healthcare data, creator marketing, power electronics, and semiconductor inspection may serve different markets, but each targets infrastructure gaps that could become increasingly important as AI and advanced manufacturing expand.
