Vivo revealed the design of the upcoming X500 Pro Max, giving consumers an early look at its next flagship smartphone. The company showcased the device ahead of the September 21 launch in China, where the X500 series will debut. The lineup is expected to include the X500, X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max.

Dual-Tone Design with Large Camera Module

According to official reports, the X500 Pro Max features a dual-tone rear panel in silver and orange finishes. A large circular camera module dominates the back of the handset.

The module houses three camera sensors and carries ZEISS branding, reinforcing vivo's focus on mobile photography. The LED flash sits separately near the upper-left edge of the camera area.

The tech giant also highlighted an optional teleconverter lens and professional imaging grip. Reports indicate that the teleconverter can extend the system's reach to around 400mm, giving users greater flexibility for distant subjects.

Vivo X500 Pro Max: Other Specs

Video could be one of the biggest upgrades in the X500 series. vivo says the lineup will support 17EV dynamic range, 10-bit 4:2:2 encoding and the ACES colour system.

The phones are also expected to support 4K video recording at 120fps in 10-bit Log, along with native 8K Live output. These features could make the X500 Pro Max a stronger option for mobile filmmakers and content creators.
