Vivo has expanded the X300 FE lineup in India with an 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model. The company launched the variant on August 12 at Rs. 84,999, making it the cheapest option.
The new model arrives after Vivo raised prices for existing versions amid higher memory and storage costs. It retains the same flagship platform and camera setup while lowering the RAM capacity.
The Vivo X300 FE 8GB model is available through Amazon, Flipkart, Vivo’s online store, and authorized retailers. The phone joins the 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB versions, priced at Rs. 89,999 and Rs. 99,999.
Vivo also offers a 10% instant discount with selected SBI, HDFC Bank, and Axis Bank cards or UPI payments. Buyers can choose no-cost EMI plans for up to 24 months or receive a 10% exchange bonus.
The new Vivo X300 FE keeps a 6.31-inch LTPO AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The screen reaches 5,000 nits peak brightness and supports HDR10+ for richer viewing.
A Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset powers the smartphone with LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. The camera setup includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 main sensor with OIS, a 50-megapixel 3x telephoto camera, and an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens. A 50-megapixel autofocus camera handles selfies.
The 6,500mAh battery supports 90W wired and 40W wireless charging. Android 16 with OriginOS 6 runs the device, while IP68 and IP69 ratings add water and dust protection.
The new price creates a lower entry point, although the 8GB model gives up memory headroom. Heavy multitasking and long-term AI workloads may benefit more from 12GB RAM.
Still, the compact design, flagship chip, ZEISS cameras, and large battery keep the new variant competitive. The handset comes in Urban Olive, Lilac Purple, and Noir Black, giving buyers three premium finishes across the configuration.
