Vivo X Fold 6 is tipped to launch in India on October 6 at 12 PM. According to tipster Abhishek Yadav, the foldable could arrive in two RAM and storage configurations and two color options. The tipster also claims the foldable will launch globally on October 1.
The India debut will come five days after the global launch and about four months after the handset launched in China. Vivo introduced the X Fold 6 in China in June with a starting price of CNY 7,999, roughly Rs. 1.05 lakh.
Vivo has previously confirmed that the foldable will be launched in select global markets, although the company has not announced an India launch date.
According to the leak, the Indian version of the X Fold 6 will be available in 12GB RAM + 256GB and 12GB RAM + 512GB configurations. The handset is tipped to arrive in Prism Black and Nebula Teal.
For comparison, Vivo launched the X Fold 5 in India in a single 16GB + 512GB configuration, in Titanium Grey.
The software could also differ between the Chinese and international versions. While the Chinese model launched with OriginOS 6 Fold, the global version is tipped to ship with OriginOS 7.
