Vodafone Idea has introduced a new Rs. 35 pack for people who enjoy watching regional movies and shows. The offer is currently available through the Vi mobile app or authorized third-party recharge channels. Users can activate it using Vi Movies & TV, which allows prepaid users to pick any two OTT platforms from a list of six services.
Reportedly, nine Indian languages are included in the plan, ranging from Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Punjabi, to Haryanvi, Bhojpuri, Bengali, and Odia. It gives users 28 days of OTT access and 1GB of mobile data. However, the data is valid for only seven days. Users must also have an active Vi base plan to use this offer.
The six platforms included in the pack are SonyLIV South, Chaupal, ManoramaMAX, KLiKK, AddaTimes, and Aao NXT. Users can recharge through the Vi app or other supported recharge channels. After buying the pack, they need to open the Vi Movies & TV app and log in with their Vi number. They can then select their two preferred services. The subscriptions are limited to mobile viewing, so users cannot watch the content on a television through this offer.
A lot of users may get curious about why there are only two platforms they can choose. However, there’s a reason behind it. This choice offers them a chance to go for the platforms they love without paying for two separate platforms individually.
Notably, preferences vary from user to user. While some love Tamil films, others enjoy Punjabi shows or Bengali movies. Vi's offer gives them the freedom to pick the platforms they actually want to watch. Bengali viewers can also choose between KLiKK and AddaTimes, while Tamil movie fans can choose SonyLIV South. All in all, for regional content lovers, this Rs. 35 pack offers another way to enjoy their favorite shows and movies without paying for two separate subscriptions.
