Arctic Fox Technologies has introduced Super Mouse, a multifunctional computer mouse with a built-in touchscreen that simplifies everyday tasks with app shortcuts, macros, and productivity tools. The device can be pre-ordered on Kickstarter at USD 199, despite a planned retail price of USD 249. Deliveries may begin in February 2027.
Unlike conventional mice that rely on physical buttons for shortcuts, the Super Mouse features a 3.1-inch touchscreen with a 720 x 720 pixel resolution. The display is beneath the standard left and right mouse buttons and scroll wheel, alongside two customizable Hyper Keys.
The touchscreen provides quick access to applications and frequently used commands. Its Control Panel can hold up to 16 shortcuts, macros, or launchers, with controls that adapt to the application in use.
For instance, users working with Adobe Premiere can access video editing and playback shortcuts directly from the screen. The company's Flow desktop application also lets users customize controls for specific workflows or applications the mouse doesn't automatically recognize.

The Super Mouse offers several additional features to improve productivity. Users can sync the device with Google Calendar to receive event and meeting reminders. It also supports voice-to-text, with processing handled locally on the mouse.
Other features include multiple user profiles, focus timers, and productivity tracking. A built-in gyroscope allows users to control presentations or scrub through videos by moving the mouse.
The device could also serve as an alternative to certain desktop peripherals, including a trackpad, macro pad, or streaming controller. Its touchscreen may even offer a compact keyboard experience with smartphone-style swipe typing. However, its boxy design may raise ergonomic concerns during extended use.
Despite its feature set, the Super Mouse has one notable limitation: it lacks wireless connectivity. Instead of using a rechargeable battery, the device draws power through a USB-C connection and must remain connected to a computer.
The Super Mouse also costs more than some competing touchscreen mice. For comparison, Turtle Beach's Command Series MC7 features a smaller 2.25-inch side display, while Arctic Fox uses a larger central screen.
At USD 199, the Super Mouse targets users who want to combine several productivity tools into a single peripheral. Whether its touchscreen controls offer a meaningful advantage over conventional keyboard shortcuts remains to be seen.
