Sony has launched its new True RGB TVs in India as competition grows in the premium TV market. The new range includes Bravia 9 II and Bravia 7 II models, with the 115-inch Bravia 9 II leading the lineup. Sony uses RGB Backlight Master Drive Pro to control red, green, and blue LEDs separately. The company says this setup can produce brighter pictures and richer colors.

Sony India introduced the Bravia 9 II through its official X account. “Your home. Your cinema. Introducing BRAVIA 9 II,” Sony India posted in June. The company also highlighted the TV’s large color range and its focus on showing scenes closer to the creator’s vision.

The 115-inch Bravia 9 II is Sony’s largest home TV launched in India. The TV has a listed price of Rs. 45,99,900, while its best-buy price is Rs. 28,99,990. The 75-inch model costs Rs. 8,39,900, while the 85-inch version costs Rs. 9,89,900.

The Bravia 7 II offers True RGB technology across several screen sizes. Sony says the technology delivers better color control while maintaining the high brightness expected from premium Mini LED TVs.

Both models support 4K resolution, 120Hz refresh rates, Google TV, Dolby Vision, and Dolby Atmos. Gaming features include 4K at 120fps, variable refresh rate, and Auto Low Latency Mode.

Sony is entering a busy premium TV market with the new lineup. Samsung, LG, TCL, and Hisense are also competing with OLED, Mini LED, and RGB-based display technologies.

The high prices may keep these TVs limited to premium buyers. Still, the new range gives Indian consumers more choices for large, high-end televisions.
