Samsung Electronics has revealed its gaming monitor lineup for the year 2026, delivering an ambitious effort to change gaming experiences through high-end display technology.
The Odyssey series is expected to bring ultra-high-definition resolutions, 3D visual effects, and the fastest refresh rates ever, with several models set for release at the CES 2026.
The headline product is a 32-inch Odyssey 3D monitor featuring a 6K resolution panel. Samsung claims it is the world’s first gaming monitor to combine 6K clarity with glasses-free 3D. Using eye-tracking and lenticular lens technology, its display adjusts images in real time to create a depth effect without requiring headsets or special eyewear.
As per the company statements, the monitor targets immersive gaming and high-end content creation, pairing a 6K panel with high refresh rates and low response times to avoid traditional motion issues associated with 3D displays.
At the other extreme, Samsung is pushing refresh rates to new limits. A new Odyssey G6 model is designed for competitive gaming, which brings a native refresh rate far beyond current mainstream displays and a headline figure of up to 1,040Hz in specific modes.
Such speeds are specifically targeted at esports professionals who can gain a competitive advantage through low latency and smoother motion.

By adding more variants to the Odyssey G8 series, Samsung is not just increasing the number of options available; the company is offering features such as 5K and 6K clarity with high resolutions and a particular 4K QD-OLED model that emphasizes contrast and color fidelity. All models are expected to support adaptive sync technologies to minimize screen tearing.
With its 2026 lineup, Samsung is testing the limits of display technology. Few PCs can fully exploit these specifications today. Pricing and availability are yet to be announced, but the message is clear: Samsung wants to lead both ends of the gaming spectrum: extreme immersion and efficient speed.
