Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra leaked renders reveal a major rear redesign ahead of its expected February 2027 launch. The CAD images come from OnLeaks and Android Headlines, showing Samsung’s flagship with a new camera plateau.

The redesigned module replaces separate camera rings with a wide horizontal bar across the upper rear panel. The change could create more room for larger sensors, improved cooling and possible Qi2 magnetic charging support.

The Samsung S27 Ultra leak also points toward a simplified camera system with three rear sensors. Reports suggest a 200MP main camera could pair with a 50MP ultrawide and 50MP 5x telephoto.

Samsung may remove the existing 3x telephoto camera, creating a major shift in zoom hardware. The leaked design also shows a circular area under the rear panel, which could support Qi2 magnetic charging.

Tipster Ice Universe warned Samsung about the potential reaction to the new design on X. “I know it's already too late to make any changes to the Galaxy S27 Ultra's design,” Ice Universe wrote. The tipster also predicted “the most intense wave of criticism in Galaxy history” if the design reaches production.

The phone reportedly measures 163.76 x 78.25 x 7.97mm, with the camera area reaching 12.53mm. A 5,700mAh silicon-carbon battery could also deliver a significant capacity increase over the current Ultra model. The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Extreme may power the phone, while Samsung could use Exynos 2700 in select markets.

The S Pen and dedicated storage slot reportedly remain, preserving a key Ultra feature. Rumors currently place the starting price around $1,399, although pricing remains unconfirmed. Samsung has not officially confirmed the Galaxy S27 Ultra design, specifications or launch price.
