Samsung’s recent design decision is making headlines. A new leak now hints that the upcoming Galaxy S26 Plus might arrive in a Cosmic Orange finish, arguably not too different from Apple’s iPhone 17 Pro, which hit headlines sometime this year for ditching the traditional black variant. Fans christened the bold orange hue ‘the new black,’ and it seems Samsung is ready to ride the wave.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Plus Design Leak Shows Familiar Yet Refined Look

Renowned tipster OnLeaks has shared CAD-based renders of Galaxy S26 Plus. This information reveals a design language that blends refinement with familiarity. The images show a sleek rear panel with grouped camera lenses inside a double-layered camera island, reminiscent of Galaxy S25 Edge and Galaxy Z Fold 7.

S26 Plus will sport a 6.7-inch screen with smaller bezels compared to its predecessor. Dimensions reportedly place the phone at 158.4 x 75.7 x 7.35mm, so it remains quite balanced, with a premium in-hand feel. Yes, the orange finish gets all the PR, but remember that the renders might still be only of design concepts and not confirmed colorways.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Plus Features and Specifications

Galaxy S26 Plus is rumored to have a 6.7-inch Quad HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate, providing the visual quality for which Samsung is known. The phone is expected to be equipped with either Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 or Exynos 2600, depending on the country where it is sold.

As for the photography, Samsung might keep the same triple-camera configuration that consists of a 50MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide, and a 12MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. S26 Plus can be powered by a 4900mAh battery that promises day-long performance with fast charging.

Is Orange the New Black?

With the orange variant of iPhone 17 Pro making a cultural statement, the move by Samsung gives more hope that brands will be experimenting with bold statement colours.

If the leak proves right, Galaxy S26 Plus may just be one premium aesthetics redefined in 2025, and once more prove that sometimes, innovation begins with color.
