Meta introduces a new feature, ‘Vibes’, to entertain, inform, and surprise users with endless AI-generated videos on its platforms. Users can create, explore, and share AI-powered clips, either by beginning from scratch or remixing available videos from the feed.

“Vibes is designed to make it easier to find creative inspiration and experiment with Meta AI’s media tools,” Meta wrote in a recent blog post.

How To Create or Share Videos on Meta Vibes

Meta, while describing unique features of Vibes, mentioned: “As you browse, you’ll see a range of AI-generated videos from creators and communities. The feed will become more personalized over time, and if something catches your eye, you can create your own video, remix what you see, and share it with friends and followers.”

Talking about creativity, Meta shared, “With Vibes, you can start from scratch, work with content you already have, or remix a video from the feed to make it your own. Add new visuals, layer in music, and adjust styles to match your taste.”

“When you’re ready to share, post directly to the Vibes feed, DM to friends, or cross-post to Instagram and Facebook Stories and Reels. If you see a Meta AI video on Instagram, you can tap through to remix it in the Meta AI app,” the blog post added.

This new feed will be available in the Meta AI app and on the official website.

Meta’s Future Plans for ‘Vibes’

“We’re working on even more powerful creation tools and models with several talented visual artists and creators, and will be rolling these out more widely in the future,” the tech giant shared an ambitious plan.

While developing its own AI models, Meta has already partnered with image generators Midjourney and Black Forest Labs to create the early version of Vibes, as confirmed by chief AI officer Alexandr Wang.

Meta AI App: The Hub for Creative Possibilities

This is just the beginning of exploring exciting opportunities with this platform, as revealed by the company. “Beyond Vibes, the Meta AI app is still your hub for managing AI glasses, capturing moments, and exploring creative possibilities with your photos and videos. The Meta AI assistant is always there to provide answers, ideas, and inspiration,” mentioned the blog post.

The ‘Vibes’ launch comes as a surprise amidst the rumours of Meta falling behind competitors like OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google DeepMind. Following a huge setback for its open-source Llama 4 model and the departure of key staff members, the company reorganized AI efforts in June under a division called Meta Superintelligence Labs.

The long-term vision is to dominate the artificial intelligence landscape not just in social media, but across consumer assistants, creative tools, and enterprise applications, turning Meta into a true AI-first company.
